Bryson DeChambeau is once again in the middle of a big debate, but this time it has nothing to do with golf. The former U.S. Open champion recently went viral after sharing his thoughts about the Apollo 11 moon landing footage during an appearance on the “Katie Miller Pod.
” His comments spread online, especially after a disappointing week at the PGA Championship at Aronimink, where he missed the cut for the second straight major tournament. Bryson DeChambeau opened the event with a six over 76 before shooting a one over 71 in the second round. That performance ended his week early. Still, golf fans spent more time talking about his moon landing comments than his golf scores.During the podcast, DeChambeau explained that he believes astronauts did go to the moon, but he is not fully convinced about the footage shown to the public.
Referring to Elon Musk, DeChambeau said, “Look, Elon says we’ve definitely gone there. So I tend to go that route, because he’s the man that knows quite a bit about all that.”He continued by saying, “Artemis just went around the moon. So I do believe if we spent a lot of our resources like they say we did, I think we did. I don’t think the footage is real. But I think we did go to the moon. I don’t know about the footage. It’s quite wild.”

With questions continuing around LIV Golf and its future direction, he revealed that content creation could become a bigger part of his career.“I’m in that weird space right now, I don’t know what to do, either: Content creation or professional golf,” DeChambeau said. “I don’t know what to do right now.”When asked whether he earns more money from YouTube or LIV Golf, DeChambeau answered, “I’d say they’re about the same. If you’re up at that level in content creation, they are very, very similar.”
