New Delhi: OpenAI has officially introduced its latest update to ChatGPT that will help users learn math and science concepts in a more interactive way. This feature adds dynamic visual explanations that will enable users to see how the formulas, variables, and equations change in real-time.

With more than 70 core topics, the latest learning experience is now rolling out globally to all logged-in ChatGPT users across all plans. The update is especially designed to help the students better understand complex concepts instead of just memorizing formulas.

ChatGPT can now show those interactive visual modules when the users ask about certain math or science topics to the chatbot. Rather than only providing text explanations, the tool can display visual elements that will demonstrate how the equations and variables behave.

Users can also adjust the variables or manipulate formulas and immediately see how those changes affect the graphs or results. The approach is meant to help the learners understand the relationships behind the equations by experimenting with them directly.

This update currently supports more than 70 basic math and science concepts that are usually taught in high school and college. These will also include topics such as the Pythagorean theorem, linear equations, compound interest, circle area, cone volume, Ohm’s law, Coulomb’s law, kinetic energy, Hooke’s law, and the PV=nRT equation.

This feature builds on the earlier learning tools in ChatGPT by including Study Mode, which helps users solve problems step by step, and quizzes designed to help learners prepare for exams.

The company has plans to extend the interactive learning experience to more subjects in the future. It will continue researching how AI affects learning through initiatives such as NextGen AI and the OpenAI Learning tab.

It plans to publish its findings and use these insights to improve future tools while working with the wider education community to support learners worldwide.
