During a domestic dispute, Sanjay allegedly blamed Shakuben for his first wife leaving him along with their children. He then attacked her with a heavy object, resulting in her death.

Accused Sanjay has been taken into custody by Gujarat Police
A man in Gujarat has been arrested for allegedly killing his second wife following a domestic dispute over first marriage and dumping her body in nearby bushes, police said on Saturday.
The incident took place in Tankara town of Morbi district where police received information about a murder on the premises of a factory. On reaching the spot, officers began an investigation into the death of a woman identified as Shakuben.
According to police, the accused, Sanjay, had frequent quarrels with Shakuben over his first wife, Ganga, who had earlier left him, leaving their children behind. The tension between the couple escalated on the night of the incident during an argument over the first wife.
During the altercation, Sanjay allegedly accused Shakuben of being responsible for his first wife leaving him and his children. In a fit of rage, police said, he struck her on the head with a heavy object, causing fatal injuries.
Officials said that after the murder, Sanjay transported the body in a rickshaw and dumped it in an acacia bush near a dam, opposite a temple.
The crime came to light after the victim's son approached the police and filed a complaint. He told officials that his father had confessed to the killing and had threatened him to accompany him to dispose of the body. The son, however, refused but later followed him and witnessed the body being dumped.
Acting on the complaint, police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem examination.
A case of murder has been registered, and the accused has been taken into custody. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
