Ina tragic incident, a senior lawyer was killed after a truck carrying concrete toppled over his BMW car at Keesara Toll Plaza in Kanchikacharla mandal on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada highway, completely flattening the luxury vehicle.

According to the police, the deceased has been identified as B. Srinivas Rao, a prominent High Court Advocate and the incident occurred around 4:15-4:20 PM on Saturday.

“A BMW car was heading to Hyderabad. A concrete mixer tanker lost control near the Keesara Toll Plaza, causing it to fall onto the BMW. Advocate Rao had participated in the Bar Council elections earlier that day in Amaravati and was heading back. Tragically, Rao passed away in the accident," NDTV quoted SV Raja Sekhara Babu, the Commissioner of Police, Vijaywada, as saying.

The police said that the body was recovered with the help of JCBs and has been sent for a post-mortem examination. Authorities are reviewing CCTV footage to determine the exact cause of the accident, including whether the tanker was overloaded or if there was any negligence involved, Sekhara Babu added.

Disturbing visuals show a truck overturning onto a red BMW, crushing the car completely.

Preliminary reports suggest the ready-mix concrete tanker lost control due to brake failure while taking a turn. At the time, the BMW was passing through the toll gate. The immense weight of the tanker and its load flattened the vehicle almost instantly, leaving it mangled beyond recognition.
