The former Principal Investigator at ACTREC and Associate Professor at Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) Jyoti Anand Kode delivered a lecture on “Screening of Advanced, Affordable Anti-Cancer and Immunomodulatory Formulations for Improved Healthcare” in Belagavi on Wednesday.

She was delivering the 100th University Guest Lecture Series organised by KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER).

KAHER invited prominent researchers across the country who have contributed to research in health care.

During the session, she shared her expertise and research experiences related to innovative anti-cancer therapies and immunomodulatory approaches aimed at improving accessible healthcare solutions.

She elaborated on potential anti-cancer activities of plant-based products and basic immunological mechanism involved in anti-cancer activity.

The lecture provided valuable scientific insights and inspired the audience toward advanced research and innovation.

KAHER Vice-Chancellor Sandeep Shrivastava and other guests felicitated Dr. Kode in recognition of her valuable contribution to academic and research excellence.

Director of Dr. Prabhakar Kore Basic Science Research Center, KAHER, Ramesh S. Paranjape welcomed the guests.

Registrar Vishwanath M. Pattanshetti said that the lecture series brought in experts in diverse fields and benefited students, teachers and local researchers.

Faculty members of Dr. Prabhakar Kore Basic Science Research Centre (BSRC) and others were present.
