Naidu to launch welfare, development projects during five-day tour

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has a packed itinerary during his tour of Tirupati, Chittoor, Kadapa and SPSR Nellore districts from July 1 to 5, during which he will inaugurate development projects and launch key welfare initiatives.

The highlight of the tour will be the launch of the ‘Pedala Sevalo’ pension distribution programme at Punnapuravaripalem in Chillakur mandal of SPSR Nellore district on July 1. Later in the day, Mr. Naidu will lay the foundation stone for Hero MotoCorp’s proposed Global Parts Centre in the Satyavedu constituency of Tirupati district. The facility will be established with a proposed investment of ₹750 crore.

On July 2, the Chief Minister, along with Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, will launch the Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission Gramin (VB-G RAMG) at Obulavaripalle mandal in the Railway Kodur Assembly constituency. He will later participate in a Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) capacity-building workshop in Tirupati.

The foundation stone for the much-awaited JSW Rayalaseema Steel Plant at Sunnapurallapalle in Jammalamadugu constituency of Kadapa district will be laid on July 3, with Mr. Naidu attending as the chief guest.

He will thereafter proceed to Kuppam in Chittoor district, where he will take part in a series of official and constituency programmes from July 3 to 5 as the local MLA.

Meanwhile, the Tirupati district administration reviewed the arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit to Mukkavaripalle panchayat in Obulavaripalle mandal for the VB-G RAMG launch.

Chief Minister’s Programmes Coordinator Pendurthi Venkatesh, District Collector S. Venkateswar, Superintendent of Police L. Subbarayudu, Joint Collector R. Govinda Rao, Railway Kodur MLA Arava Sridhar and KUDA Chairman M. Rupananda Reddy inspected the site identified for the temporary helipad and the venue of the proposed public meeting.
