DGCA’s new rule requires airlines to offer 60 per cent seats without fees.

Weekes after issuing the directive, the Civil Aviation Ministry on Wednesday put in abeyance its order to airlines mandating 60% of seats in any flight free of cost, following concerns raised by airlines over its operational and commercial impact.
