Patna: The revenue and land reforms department has strengthened its public grievance redressal mechanism by setting up a new monitoring cell with immediate effect, following instructions from minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal.As part of the initiative, nine revenue service officers have been assigned to ensure regular monitoring and timely disposal of public complaints. The move aims to provide transparent, effective and time-bound solutions to grievances raised by citizens.Speaking on the development, Jaiswal said the govt is committed to improving departmental accountability, ensuring prompt redressal of complaints and enhancing revenue services.
He warned that negligence in grievance disposal would not be tolerated and that strict action would be taken against erring officials.Deputy secretary Sunil Kumar has been designated as the nodal officer for continuous monitoring of the departmental grievance portal. The department expects the new mechanism to make the redressal system more transparent, accountable and efficient.
