New Delhi: Tecno has officially introduced the Tecno Camon 50 Ultra, which comes with a massive 6,500mAh battery pack, a triple rear camera setup, and improved protection over the Pro model. It features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display that provides a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.
The display supports HDR10, and it is protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2. This device features an under-display optical fingerprint scanner.
The design and the camera module are similar to the Tecno Camon 50 Pro. It comes with a 50MP main camera sensor, a 50MP telephoto camera sensor with 3x optical zoom and OIS support, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera sensor. For selfies, there is a 50MP main camera sensor for video calling with autofocus.
This device gets the premium build with the glass sandwich design and curved sides, where the rear is protected by the Gorilla Glass 7i.
Camon 50 Ultra also gets the MIL-STD-810 certification and up to IP69K dust and water resistance. It houses a massive 6,500mAh battery pack that supports 45W wired charging and bypass charging. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate SoC, which is coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.
The Camon 50 Ultra runs on Android 16 based on HiOS 16, and it is positioned to receive up to 3 years of OS updates. It also includes 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, Infrared, dual speakers, and FM Radio.
