Training for Emergency Response Teams in Alappuzha on July 8

A training programme will be organised for the Emergency Response Teams (ERTs) formed in grama panchayats in Alappuzha district to ensure effective response during emergency situations.

The training session for the ERTs of Mararikulam North, Kanjikuzhy, Thanneermukkom, Kadakkarapally, Cherthala South, Aryad, Mannancherry, Mararikulam South, and Muhamma will be held at the Mararikulam North grama panchayat hall at 2.30 p.m. on July 8.

The training, intended for the first aid team and the search, rescue and evacuation team, will be imparted by members of the National Disaster Response Force and the Departments of Fire and Rescue Services and Health.
