'Kalki loved the kochuri-torkari from an old College Street shop’

Kalki Koechlin and Parambrata Chattopadhyay are currently filming their web series Kahar, directed by Gauravv K Chawla, in Kolkata. The Mumbai team arrived in town on January 2 on a four-day shooting schedule.The series was originally planned as a 42-day Kolkata shoot, but a tiff between Parambrata and the local Federation forced the team to shift production to Mumbai temporarily.

On Sunday, a few character artistes from the cast shot at Bantala, while Kalki and Parambrata were seen shooting at College Street and Baghbazar. A day later, we spotted Kalki in Baghbazar, shooting solo, and were told Parambrata will be rejoin the schedule today.'Shooting with Kalki is fun. Kalki Koechlin shoots at Baghbazar on Monday. Speaking to us about the Sunday shoot on College Street, Parambrata said she wanted to try something local. “I asked the team to get her kochuri and torkari, and she absolutely loved it.”
