A South Korean national, was stabbed to death in Noida by his live-in partner. Police arrested the accused and further investigation is underway.

A 47-year-old South Korean national was stabbed to death in Noida, allegedly by his live-in partner, police said.
The victim, identified as Duck Hee Yuh, was living with his girlfriend in a high-rise residential society in Sector-150, Noida. He was found dead at GIMS Hospital on January 4 following the stabbing.
The victim was working as a branch manager with a reputed mobile phone company, police said.
Police arrested the accused, Lunjeana Pamai, a resident of Manipur, who was in a live-in relationship with Yuh.
According to investigators, the couple was consuming alcohol late into the night when an argument erupted over an undisclosed issue. The verbal spat soon escalated into a physical confrontation.
“In a fit of rage during the scuffle, the woman stabbed him in the chest. The wound was deep and he began bleeding heavily," a police officer said.
Realising the severity of his injuries, she rushed him to GIMS Hospital, where doctors declared him dead on arrival. Police were informed early in the morning, after which the full sequence of events emerged.
The police said, “A South Korean national, Duck Hee Yuh, was brought dead to GIMS Hospital on January 4, 2026. Preliminary investigation revealed that the deceased was admitted to the hospital by Lunjeana Pamai, a resident of Thangal, Manipur. During the investigation, police found that the accused woman had allegedly stabbed him to death with a knife. The two had been living together in a live-in relationship for a considerable period. A case has been registered at the Knowledge Park Police Station, and the accused woman has been arrested."

Police investigating the case said the relationship was strained, with frequent disputes. The South Korean national allegedly consumed alcohol heavily and often assaulted the woman, triggering repeated arguments between the two.
The accused told police she did not intend to kill him and that the stabbing happened during the altercation. Officers said they are verifying her claims as part of the ongoing investigation.
Officials said further legal action would be taken based on the outcome of the investigation.
